How to fix code 39 error?



Error code 39 is one of the most common errors, in other work it will almost always occur on the windows operating system. This windows error code is happens on the system with error message, that error message is like that:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

Above this error message is actually very dangerous error, it is device manager issue. Due to this problem the drive did not show up in your computer system and you are also unable to burn CD’s or read any CD’s.

Causes of the windows error code 39?

There are many causes of this windows error code 39; following are the main reasons behind code 39:


  • If the system device driver is out-of-date
  • Some important driver is missing.
  • The driver is corrupt.
  • A previous attempt to update the driver failed.
  • The device is not configured as the default device.
  • If the system device is not plugged in correctly or all the way


Above these are most common causes of this error. Therefore it may result the system damaged or crash, because I was having similar problem but I can fix my PC though the many ways. So, you can also use given below steps to easily fix this issue.

To solve window code 39 errors, follow these steps:

You can remove wrong registry key settings and then you should also reboot your system in sage mode.
After removing these registry keys and rebooting the system, it might be required to reinstall any CD or DVD recording applications. 

1) First of all you should close all open programs
2) Click on Start, and then go to Run, and type REGEDIT in open box and click on Enter
3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
Class
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4) After that this folder is the DVD or CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry.
Now you should look for any of the following names in the right hand column.
UpperFilters
LowerFilters
UpperFilters.bak
LowerFilters.bak
5) If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, and then open it and select Delete opetion
6) After deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor
7) And finally reboot your computer system

Now, open My Computer folder and make sure to see your CD or DVD drives have returned. You might also want to open Device Manager and then you can confirm that the yellow exclamation or error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone. If not then you can use third party repair tool to easily fix this issue.
